June 2nd - I took my third shot of interferon around 8:30 PM and went to bed around midnight or so. I slept through the night without incident. I woke up early Saturday and felt pretty good. Later in the day I became ill with the stomach cramps and was forced to go back to bed. I pretty much stayed in bed the rest of the day. I had various aches and pains. At one point I had a shooting pain that went through my left wrist that was so severe that it almost caused me to convulse uncontrollably. Tina read an obscure note about Ribavirin on the Internet that said the Ribavirin is absorbed more readily into the body when you eat a high fat content diet. So I had chilly dogs for dinner, this seemed to help my stomach (oddly enough). I slept through Saturday night pretty well. Sunday I felt better when I woke up. Later I began to feel ill again and went back to bed. Still the Ribavirin seems to be causing me the most problems. The medicine is starting to make me highly irritable and very impatient.
